Replacing the Water Filter

It is recommended that you replace the filter once every six months. You may need to change it sooner if the filter indicator turns on or the water output decreases. All that is required is the new water filter.

1. Locate and prepare the old water filter

  • The filter is located in the refrigerator at the top-right corner

  • Pinch the sides of the cover to access the filter

  • Place towels beneath the filter to catch any water

2. Remove the old filter

  • Pull the filter down

  • Turn the filter counterclockwise to unlock and pull it out

3. Replace the water filter

  • Remove the protective cover from the new filter

  • Push the filter into the slot until it stops

  •  Turn the filter clockwise and lift it back into position

  • Close the filter cover

4. Run water through the filter

  • Dispense water in intervals of 30 seconds on and 60 seconds off

  • Do this until you dispense 2.5 gallons of water

5. Reset the filter indicator

  • Press and hold the water filter button for three seconds
